In the magical era of the 90s, Disney released a delightful series of home videos under the "Disney Favorite Stories" banner. From 1994 to 1996, these videos captured the hearts of countless children and families, offering a cherished collection of stories akin to the beloved "Walt Disney Mini Classics" line. Each video came with a mini-comic storybook and opened with a calming favorite stories promo, followed by an intro that featured a new rendition of the classic Mini-Classics logo jingle. Intriguingly, the logo was only visible on the first six releases.

For many of us, these stories were an integral part of our childhood. However, a glaring inconsistency has blemished this timeless series. Mickey's Christmas Carol, the series' final release, uses a 1992 Mini-Classics master on the tape, marking it with the Mini-Classics logo despite being marketed and packaged as a Favorite Stories title. Additionally, this beloved tale is conspicuously absent from the series trailers, leaving fans with a disjointed collection and missing a key piece of nostalgia.

In a world where nostalgia is experiencing a resurgence, reviving the Disney Favorite Stories would not only rectify past oversights but would also introduce these enchanting tales to a new generation. By re-releasing these stories on Disney+, Disney has the opportunity to reinforce its legacy of storytelling and the magic that captivates the hearts of people worldwide.

Such a revival could address previous inconsistencies, such as including Mickey's Christmas Carol in the series trailers and ensuring all titles feature the correct intros and logos. A revamped release  on Disney+ could also include high-definition formats or special collector's editions to appeal to both old fans and new audiences.

We appeal to Disney to consider this revival. Doing so would not only honor their commitment to preserving history and correcting inconsistencies but also bring joy to countless fans who wish to revisit these stories or share them with their children. Disney, with its unparalleled gift for storytelling, can make this wish a reality and once again share these treasured stories with the world.
