Moreover, the bill hammers nails into the coffin of clean energy investments at a time when urgent action against climate change is needed more than ever. Climate change endangers all of us, regardless of political alignment, by threatening our environment and consequently our health and livelihoods.

This legislation stands to make the rich richer while the rest of America suffers heightened vulnerabilities to economic instability, health care crises, and environmental disasters. We need to act now to protect our communities, especially the most vulnerable who depend on these services for their survival.
