This story starts with heartbreak. A year ago, I experienced the loss of one of my favorite foods: nacho cheese tacos at Woolworth. My mother was the bearer of bad news, and since then, I've felt the void in my heart – and my stomach. These tacos were more than just a quick meal. They were a symbol of diversity within the taco brand and inspired food makers to bring back long abandoned foods to newer generations.

The discontinuation of nacho cheese tacos is not just a personal agony. It diminishes choice diversity within Woolworth's offerings, blocks people's chance to live balanced, healthy lives with varied diet options, and hinders the circle of culinary creativity by impeding the reintroduction of forgotten tastes to new consumers.

In Australia, tacos are consumed by nearly 25% of the population. Imagine the impact if we were to reintroduce the nacho cheese variant. By doing this, we're not just satisfying a personal craving, but catering to the silent wishes of millions of Australians. We could inspire an important culinary shift, encouraging variety and healthier choices.

I urge Woolworth to make a bold step forward: bring back our beloved nacho cheese tacos. In doing so, you'll not just be selling a product, but spreading happiness and providing a model for other food manufacturers to reintroduce forgotten recipes. Together, we can make a difference. I urge everyone to sign this petition: let Woolworth hear our collective longing for the return of the nacho cheese tacos.
