My great-grandmother, turning 87 this October, is battling a brain tumour even though it is stabilised now. She's been through dementia and now takes antibiotics to mitigate the effects of her condition. Her resilience is inspiring; she remembers everything to the letter despite her previous struggles with memory loss. We've shared countless memories together since my childhood, and as her most cherished grandson, I am determined to help not only her but millions of others worldwide facing similar battles.

Brain tumours affect an estimated 700,000 Americans alone (American Brain Tumor Association). The need for advanced research in this field is urgent and paramount. By accelerating research efforts into brain diseases like tumours, we can potentially extend the lives of our loved ones up to 100 years or more - a milestone my great-grandmother dreams of reaching.

The idea isn't far-fetched; entrepreneur Bryan Johnson has expressed his intentions towards making immortality achievable for all. While that may be a long shot today, increasing longevity by improving treatments for conditions like brain tumours isn't.

Bryan Johnson(Founder of Blueprint, Zeroim, Kernal, Os Fund, Braintree  and Venmo) has also launched his campaign and brand "Don't Die". In terms of meaning extending your lifespan long enough for him to make immortality achievable for all in the near future. This year, my only hope is that he'll inspire all to survive long enough to not only prevent the extinction of the human race in the near future, but achieve the perfect society seen in science fiction films such as Mr. Nobody(the idea of immortal humans from which Bryan Johnson seemed to be inspired by).
