Yet, despite the creative team's fondness for the "Onward" universe, the adventures of the Lightfoot brothers remain untouched since our last encounter in theaters. With Pixar focusing its sequel efforts on other stories, it seems that Ian and Barley's journey might be confined to our memories alone unless we speak up.

A streaming series could explore stories of other characters and new adventures hidden within the beautifully crafted "Onward" world. This could create a synergy, tying in viewers of all ages and bringing back the wonder originally sparked by the 2020 release. Imagine discovering the history of magic in their realm, the societal dynamics post-magic resurgence, or simply more heartfelt everyday tales from New Mushroomton.

The time is now for fans to rise and advocate for the return of Ian and Barley Lightfoot.
