With the rapid evolution of AI, it's crucial to harness it in a manner that benefits society—particularly our vulnerable young generation—and yet, the current scenario is far from ideal. Scientists and experts are working tirelessly to control and improve AI so it can serve as a positive influence. But until AI reaches a point where it can genuinely contribute to children's education and well-being, it's imperative that platforms like YouTube scrutinize the content these AI systems produce.

According to research by Common Sense Media, children aged 8-12 spend an average of almost 5 hours a day on screens, often unsupervised. This makes them susceptible to harmful content that can impact their behavior and choices. Moreover, the American Psychological Association emphasizes the effect of media on child development and the urgent need to protect them from harmful influences.

Therefore, we must call on YouTube to temporarily ban AI-generated "educational" videos until they can be ensured to be positive and safe for children. By taking this action, we not only protect our kids but also encourage responsible AI development and usage. Our children deserve content that enriches them, not endangers them.
