As an ardent fan of the Marvel universe and a dedicated gamer, I have been deeply disappointed by the 2020 release of Marvel's Avengers by Crystal Dynamics. The game was marred by poor sales, overpriced micro-transactions, a lack of villain variety, and no clear endgame direction. Furthermore, it lacked supporting cast members and hero cameos that could have enriched the gaming experience.

Insomniac Games' work on the Marvel's Spider-Man video game series has been highly acclaimed for its engaging gameplay and compelling storytelling. Their interpretation of Marvel's Avengers would undoubtedly be superior to Crystal Dynamics' version - potentially 10,000 times better. It would also expand the universe beyond Wolverine and Spider-Man while providing explanations as to why these heroes were not around to protect New York City as mentioned within all three games.

This is not just about creating a better game; it is about establishing a comprehensive Marvel Gaming Universe that has so far been denied by Bill Rosemann, president of Marvel Games. Unlike live-service games such as Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League by Rocksteady Studios which often prioritize profit over player satisfaction, this reboot could focus on delivering an immersive experience true to its source material.
