The Crystal Prep Shadowbolt girls from My Little Pony are known for their egotistical and snobbish behavior, especially towards the students of Canterlot High and sometimes even among themselves. A notable exception is the human Twilight Sparkle who bridges these contrasting worlds. Fans of the My Little Pony: Equestrian Girls series wish to experience more of the human counterparts of these characters. In particular, they want to see the Shadowbolt girls in music videos—an opportunity they have not yet had.

One example of the potential for their musical talent is demonstrated in the song "Dance Magic," where both Canterlot High and Crystal Prep students collaborate, providing a glimpse of the vibrancy and impactful storytelling that can emerge when these groups unite. This song, a part of the My Little Pony: Equestrian Girls: Dance Magic Special, showcases the unique blend of dancing and music that fans eagerly embrace.

Despite their prominence, there has been no specific music video dedicated to the Crystal Prep Shadowbolt girls on YouTube. Creating such videos could not only enrich the lore for existing fans but also revitalize interest among new audiences. Fans wish to hear these characters sing and dance, bringing to life the adventures and narrative potential of the human Equestria.

Should fans submit a music video request, they would choose whomever character they would include in a song to perform. Equestria Girls had never done a song cover. However, by seeing the Shadowbolt girls perform, it would be the first for said group.

Requesting these music videos offers fans a chance to explore the dynamic and untapped potential of these characters, deepening the connection between fans and the franchise. Sign this petition if you support the creation of music videos dedicated to the Crystal Prep Shadowbolt girls!
