I, like many fans, took great joy in watching Tom Holland don the iconic red and blue suit, and swing through New York City's skyline as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). His charm, charisma, and perfect balance of Peter Parker’s intelligence and Spider-Man’s wit was a highlight of the MCU. However, the recent events with Sony's Marvel Universe have raised concerns. We've witnessed a series of lackluster performances with Morbius and Madame Web and it seems like Venom: The Last Dance and Kraven the Hunter are headed in the same troubling direction.

These disappointing performances have thrown a cloud over the future of our beloved Spider-Man, leaving us longing for an update on Spider-Man 4, which seems increasingly uncertain due to Sony's current predicament. The concern is that if Sony's last two films bomb, they might reevaluate their hold on the Spider-Man franchise.

This is why we are urging Marvel to reacquire the full rights to Spider-Man. A move like this would guarantee that full control over Spider-Man and his extensive roster of supporting characters is awarded to Disney, facilitating their inclusion in future MCU films. Not only would this give fans the chance to see previously unseen characters from the expansive universe, but this could also ensure the continuation of Tom Holland's Spider-Man. By reacquiring the rights, Marvel could seamlessly integrate Spider-Man's storyline with the larger MCU plot.
