Despite being located amidst beautiful gravel roads and gusty forests, the nearest police station is located in Glympie. This distance impedes quick reaction times in cases of emergencies and threatens the overall safety and security of our citizens.

A local police station in Glenwood is not only necessary for our protection, but also as a deterrent against crime. Police presence discourages crime and thus, adding this critical infrastructure will significantly contribute to the stability of our community.

In an era where our population is growing rapidly, having law enforcement close at hand is essential for the wellbeing of the residents of Glenwood. It isn't just a desire; it is a necessity for our community.
