Nikki Richardson, a recent resident of Glenwood, and I are committed advocates of recycling - an effort crucial in our current environmental crisis. It has become personal for both of us to contribute to a greener and cleaner future by engaging with practical, local actions like recycling cans.

Our plan involves utilizing signs around the county and creating Facebook groups and pages to raise awareness. Not only will this endeavor support our income, but it also significantly contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

According to a study published by the Pew Research Center, recycling could potentially prevent 2.8 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide from entering our atmosphere by 2050 (Pew Research Center, 2020). Our initiative, while seemingly small, participates in this immense global impact.

Over the years, I have founded several other health-related petitions including those aimed at addressing diseases like bile reflux. Now, Nikki and I stand united, determined to broaden these efforts towards environmental health. Our vision doesn't stop here. We dream of a future where we can implement solar panels on our homes, reconstruct long-gone fauna, and even use advanced submarine drones to help refreeze the Arctic.
