I have personally witnessed the struggles of living with food intolerances. My neighbor's son, an old school teacher of mine, and even celebrities like Jared Padalecki(Supernatural, Walker, Friday the 13th), are among the millions worldwide who live with lactose or gluten intolerance. These conditions limit their dietary choices significantly and can cause discomfort or even severe reactions. Food is a crucial part of our lives, and everyone deserves to enjoy it without fear or restrictions.

Currently, scientists are making rapid advancements in treatments for various health conditions. We believe that with enough support and resources, they could develop effective cures for lactose/gluten intolerance as well. This would not only improve physical health but also mental wellbeing as individuals no longer need to live under constant dietary caution.

According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), approximately 30 to 50 million Americans are lactose intolerant while about 1% of people in the U.S suffer from Celiac disease - a severe form of gluten intolerance (source: NIDDK). The numbers clearly indicate that this is not a minor issue but one that affects a significant portion of our population.

We urge relevant authorities, research institutions, pharmaceutical companies and philanthropists to prioritize research into curing these food intolerances.
