Victories in Starbucks

The Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino has always included Java chips, adding a rich texture and flavor that many customers love. Java chips are a key ingredient in numerous Starbucks drinks, making their removal a disappointing decision for loyal fans. Eliminating them not only takes away a beloved component but also reduces the variety and quality of Starbucks’ menu. If Starbucks wants to maintain its reputation for customization and indulgence, bringing Java chips back would be a smart business move. Restoring them would satisfy countless customers, boost sales, and reinforce Starbucks’ commitment to offering the best possible drinks.

I have been collecting the been there series for 7 years. 7 damn years. I have about 25 mugs and I love the design on them. I think they are so special and cute with the "been there series" design. I was absolutely heartbroken when I have been traveling and looking to add to my collection that I have curated for YEARS to see that the new mugs don't match and quite frankly the discover series design looks hideous. I refuse to buy the new discover series mugs, and I honestly have been telling so many people how disappointed I am with Starbucks in changing this. Please please please bring back the been there series!

Been a loyal gold card member since 2010, raising prices and removing rewards is a very bad move.... you're guaranteed to lose your longest loyal customers, such as myself. It's a treat to frequent Starbucks, but it's not a necessity and it's the same for all customers! That being said, Starbucks may want to remember this fact with their reckless decisions to kill all of the perks of being a loyal Starbucks customer!

I am a long time customer who saves the stars for my grandchildren. It sure helps to get them treats! I am extremely unhappy about no double stars anymore. I will certainly be spending less at my local store. I waited for years to get a store in my town & am very disappointed with the lack of opportunities to get at least double stars.

I used to live on 57th & Alki. (Duplex… Still there!). You get this incredible sense of community, early in the morning, before tourists rolled in.. Starbucks was, FAMILY, not just ROUTINE… 1st name basis with Everyone… Corp. $ is important BUT having a voice among the people, carries more weight than all the gold bricks in Ft. Knox….. Randy

Every food service place I've worked ive been allowed to have my nails done. I think it's a way of expressing ourselves. If their was a compromise where we could wear gloves if we have our nails done or something. I know all my coworkers get upset by not being allowed to. Especially when I have a date or a family event and I wanna do my nails but obviously can't take them off by the next day for work so I just don't get them done...it just really sucks to be honest. I think if we came to a compromise and wore gloves then it would make a lot of partners happy.

I have an interview this Wednesday finding out I can’t wear nail polish is cruel to me getting mani pedis are like my therapy I’m forced to got without it ive worked in the restaurant business pretty much my whole adult life & nails never been an issue that’s why we have disposable gloves very restrictive

I am 23 years old and for every job i’ve ever had, Nails have been no issue as there are gloves available to be used. I understand that Starbucks is working on sustainability through “for here” mugs and cups in the cafe and the decline in straw use. But I believe that Being able to feel feminine and the ability to express your style is important not only for expression but also overall mental health and feeling confident in one’s self. If partners are able to get acrylic nails (which rarely ever just fall off, and almost never chip) I think it would have a positive impact for partners who enjoy the luxury of getting their nails done. I would go as far as buying my own gloves to wear to work so starbucks wouldn’t have to provide extra. There is no harm done in letting a partner express themselves and feeling confident. Not one customer would have an issue with a partner having their nails done either.

in food safety training, it states nails may be polished if one wears gloves. however, starbucks is strict on no nails, disregarding the glove rule. many partners value self expression, especially with the rising lgbt population of partners. many partners or potential partners i know are either quitting or refusing the job because of this rule.

As many baristas have stated, customers are far more concerned with receiving quality service than noticing the color or design of a shirt under an apron. Furthermore, Starbucks' claim that the policy is necessary for customer clarity is unfounded—customers are rarely, if ever, confused about who is an employee. For a company that charges premium prices, it is unreasonable to expect low-wage employees to purchase specific clothing to meet arbitrary dress standards. Uniform policies should not impose unnecessary financial burdens on staff. If Starbucks insists on standardized shirts, it should provide them at no cost to employees—just as many other service employers do. Speaking from experience when I used to work at CiCi's Pizza they provided the hat and the shirt for free, allowing you to buy extra if desired. If a chain buffet restaurant can do it then a premium coffee company can as well.
