My apologies for the silence, I’ve had a lot going on, but I haven’t forgotten about us.

It’s now been a little over 5 months since the dress code changes have been implemented, in addition to other policy changes that our CEO thought would have a significant impact. Contrary to his intentions, Starbucks’ performance has continued to fail to meet its goals. Turns out that attempting to rebrand customer service basics as a new idea didn’t pan out the way they thought it would, and forcing us to write on every cup wasn't a revolutionary change.

I will continue to reach out to our leaders and make our voices heard. And I hope they realize that slashing our dress code wasn’t the panacea they imagined it to be.
