I always try to support small, independent roasters who consistently provide the best coffee money can buy, and community that isn’t for sale! With these tariffs, many great people will lose their jobs and along with it, we will lose another part of our communities.
As a Barista in a local coffeehouse in Utah. The tariffs have made it increasingly stressful to provide customer with an accurate and reliable supply of coffee due to the “unknown” future of these tariffs.
Tariffs will increase the one commodity that Americans not only enjoy, but use in everyday work places, at home, and to be generally alert and focused. If the US military relies on coffee to be effective in their units, civilians drink coffee to be productive within our society. Take away those small privileges one by one, there will be less production overall.
I buy my coffee almost exclusively from local roasters who will be most harmed by these tariffs. Their work helps me have new experiences, supports farmers, and ensures that my coffee is sourced ethically.
I love supporting small coffee businesses and these tariffs will hurt those companies the most. Some of the best people work at these establishments and it would be a shame for them to loose their jobs.
The Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino has always included Java chips, adding a rich texture and flavor that many customers love. Java chips are a key ingredient in numerous Starbucks drinks, making their removal a disappointing decision for loyal fans. Eliminating them not only takes away a beloved component but also reduces the variety and quality of Starbucks’ menu. If Starbucks wants to maintain its reputation for customization and indulgence, bringing Java chips back would be a smart business move. Restoring them would satisfy countless customers, boost sales, and reinforce Starbucks’ commitment to offering the best possible drinks.
Been a loyal gold card member since 2010, raising prices and removing rewards is a very bad move.... you're guaranteed to lose your longest loyal customers, such as myself. It's a treat to frequent Starbucks, but it's not a necessity and it's the same for all customers! That being said, Starbucks may want to remember this fact with their reckless decisions to kill all of the perks of being a loyal Starbucks customer!
I am a long time customer who saves the stars for my grandchildren. It sure helps to get them treats! I am extremely unhappy about no double stars anymore. I will certainly be spending less at my local store. I waited for years to get a store in my town & am very disappointed with the lack of opportunities to get at least double stars.
Portland Brew has been like a home away from home for me for many years. In college, I could almost always be found in the window booth or at a table by a window upstairs knocking out all of my work for the week. I’d often get breakfast and a coffee, and then come downstairs to get lunch and another coffee. After college, I could be found in the same places working on studies for law school and later working from home.
I have now finally moved to East Nashville and I was thrilled to be close to my favorite spot, only to find out it was closing soon after.
Heartbroken would be an understatement! Please consider keeping this staple of the community around a little while longer!
