I always try to support small, independent roasters who consistently provide the best coffee money can buy, and community that isn’t for sale! With these tariffs, many great people will lose their jobs and along with it, we will lose another part of our communities.

Java chips are a key ingredient in numerous Starbucks drinks, making their removal a disappointing decision for loyal fans. Eliminating them not only takes away a beloved component but also reduces the variety and quality of Starbucks’ menu. If Starbucks wants to maintain its reputation for customization and indulgence, bringing Java chips back would be a smart business move. Restoring them would satisfy countless customers, boost sales, and reinforce Starbucks’ commitment to offering the best possible drinks.

That being said, Starbucks may want to remember this fact with their reckless decisions to kill all of the perks of being a loyal Starbucks customer!

I am extremely unhappy about no double stars anymore. I will certainly be spending less at my local store. In college, I could almost always be found in the window booth or at a table by a window upstairs knocking out all of my work for the week. I’d often get breakfast and a coffee, and then come downstairs to get lunch and another coffee. After college, I could be found in the same places working on studies for law school and later working from home.
I have now finally moved to East Nashville and I was thrilled to be close to my favorite spot, only to find out it was closing soon after.
Heartbroken would be an understatement! Please consider keeping this staple of the community around a little while longer!
