This home and open field has been Herr since I moved here almost 50 years ago. We have enjoyed watching the horses. Now my grand children enjoy them too. Gives Watauga some we space of nature
Those horses are the reason I bought my house. Without the peaceful views, this neighborhood would be like any other average neighborhood in Texas. The open space allows wildlife and native plants to thrive and needs to be protected.
Horses are as much a part of the fabric of Texas as is the Lone Star flag. With every new pasture we pave, we lose a little bit of our history. Being a horse owner, I have a huge place in my heart for any land used for housing horses.
Horses in Watauga have been here for 50 years or more at this location.
Gives people a serene, peaceful place to go. Parents can bring their kids to experience horses. Watauga does not need more houses, more apts, more traffic and more concrete to win over the beauty of nature!
