After responses from Interim Director of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department Will Young and District 1 Representative John DeWorken, we have decided that unfortunately it will not be possible to open the Rotary Park's field to dogs. However, this does not mean that we are giving up on the goal that fueled this petition. We have decided to shift the focus of this petition to the creation of a new dog park that is accessible to the North Main area and downtown Greenville. In the coming days you may notice a change to the petition, as it shifts to focus on this new goal. Thank you all so much for your support, and I am hopeful that you will continue to support us as we turn a corner in our petition.
