Ever since Iron Man 3 was released, fans have been wondering when Iron Man 4 will be released. Then after the success of Captain America: Civil War and Thor: Ragnarok, they have not had any news about fourth Captain America and Thor films.

Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth has stated they would be open to extending their contracts beyond Avengers 4. And if more solo films were to happen, I believe they would hire Mel Gibson and the Russos Brothers

Iron Man 4 would have a proper adaptation of Demon in a Bottle and  Captain America would adapt the Secret Empire storyline in his fourth solo film  With these films, we may finally get a proper closure of the Mandarin storyline and the Red Skull reforming HYDRA and attempting to conquer the world once more, forcing the Avengers to stop them and a corrupted Steve Rogers created by HYDRA.

With Pepper Potts having become Rescue in Avengers 4, it would make perfect sense to have her as Iron Man's second sidekick in a fourth Iron Man film and perhaps even joining the Avengers in future MCU films. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan has stated they feel like Chris Evans perfectly nails Captain America, so he said he would be up for a contract extension. Chris Hemsworth wishes to do a fourth Thor film, so with Taika Waititi back as director of Thor 4, there may be hope for Captain America and Iron Man to get a fourth instalment.


Mel Gibson and Robert Downey Jr. have been friends for a long time, even going as far as the former says Iron Man 4 would be fun and the latter wants Gibson to direct the film. Chris Brewster said he can't imagine RDJ's best friend directing a Marvel film, but his style to superheroes would be interesting.

Anthony and Joe Russo directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and  soon-to-be, Avengers 4. Their approach to adapting the Secret Empire storyline in a fourth Captain America film would be amazing.

 

If we can make these films happen, the best dates Disney/Marvel would release them would be September 2020   and October 21 2022.With all the heavy fan demand, they seem like possibilities Marvel can't refuse to keep their stars around.
