Disney/Marvel/Universal: Remake Many of The MCU Films With Extra Post-Credits Scenes

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

Ever since the MCU began, it has initiated a trend of post-credits scenes for their films. But some of them only had 1 post-credits scene  or none at all as Avengers: Endgame became the first film to not feature any mid-credits or post-credits scenes. I've been giving a lot of thought of if Marvel ever remade the Iron Man trilogy, the Edward Norton-led Incredible Hulk film, Thor(2011), Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avengers: Infinity War we would have to persuade them to include 2-3 post-credits scenes for each film. Here are my post-credits scene pitches for these films.

Iron Man(2008): Foreshadowing the Incredible Hulk, Emil Blonsky(Tim Roth) gets recruited to the Hulkbusters Unit in the United State Army and he is informed of a “scientist-turned fugitive” who has been on the run for 5 years. And Blonsky says catching him would be his pleasure since he wants to do anything to relive his glory days. The scene ends with Bruce Banner’s name on a “most wanted poster”.

The Incredible Hulk: Foreshadowing Captain America: The First Avenger, Phil Coulson(Clark Gregg) and Nick Fury(Samuel L. Jackson) dressed in winter gear are in the Arctic as a crew of SHIELD agents on the sheets of ice that are on the ground beneath them drill holes and fix cables to pitons. As a man goes up, two choppers recover a gigantic block of ice from the ground. As the ice slowly raises into the air, the classic  shape of a shield as well as the silhouette of a man inside the ice(Captain America) is seen.

Iron Man 2: Foreshadowing Iron Man 3, Senator Stern and James Rhodes discuss with the president about having Tony Stark building a “Patriot suit” to go on dangerous fights with super villains under the government’s service. The president agrees with the idea and says the world is changing and more heroes may come out of the woodwork very soon. And Rhodey says “They’re already coming out of the woodwork.”.

Thor (2011):  In the Asgardian hallways, Fandral (Josh Dallas) impresses a couple of Asgardian women by telling of his battle with the Destroyer, laughing with the women as Sif looks onward with a smirk smile.

Captain America: The First Avenger:Foreshadowing Thor: The Dark World,a one minute, silent scene as  pictures of strange astrophycial events set during ancient times are being seen on the table as Jane Foster(Natalie Portman) writes that she will find a way to create a wormhole to reunite with Thor in Asgard.

Iron Man 3: Foreshadowing Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Winter Soldier(Sebastian Stan) is being awoken from his cryo-chamber  and a man(presumably a HYDRA agent) informs him he has a new mission. And someone else hands him a photo of Nick Fury. The man tells him not to fail and Winter Soldier says "Mission accepted".

Avengers: Age of Ultron: Foreshadowing Ant-Man(2015), Hank Pym(Michael Douglas) is working in his lab, hacking into Pym Laboratories and intending on finding out what his protege Darren Cross has been doing since he became CEO. And he discovers that he has secretly revived the shrinking technology program. In shock, he says "Darren, what the hell have you done?"

Avengers: Infinity War: This one would have 3 post-credits scenes instead of One. One will foreshadow Avengers: Endgame while one will be a comedic scene.

The first scene would be a simple, slient one minute scene as the camera slowly moves around the house, starting downstairs, going upstairs and finally  to Clint and Laura's bedroom where we see Hawkeye on his knees grieving for his family as he silently weeps. The scene would end as his bow and arrow mounted on a wall are being shown  as the scene fades to black.

The second scene would be a 30 second comedic scene and set before the mid-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp as Scott Lang tries to fix Luis's van which engine has broken down. As the scene fades to black, Lang  fixes the van and calls Hank Pym, saying he's on his way and says "Let's go get those particles".This would be another foreshadowing of Ant-Man and the Wasp while not giving away many spoilers at the same time.

Avengers: Endgame will feature 5 post-credits scenes instead of the usual 2 post-credits scenes.

The first one would be a silent scene, foreshadowing Spider-Man: Far From Home as people watch in horror as TV reports of the death of Tony Stark  while Quentin Beck(Jake Gyllenhaal) seems pleased with it, beginning his plan to replace him as the world's greatest "superhero".

The second one would be a comedic scene as Thor "dances" to music on the Benatar, acting as a continuation of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3

The third one would be a sorrowful scene where after a derserving memoriam of all the heroes that died fighting Thanos, Wanda Maximoff stands alone at Vision's grave, weeping tears over his corpse.

The fourth one is another emotional scene where Gamora returns to her home world. Opens the door to her old home. Everything is dusty and old. Her facial expression shows peace, but with hints of heartbreak, longing, sadness and doubt. She walks in, smiles wearily and closes the door.

The fifth one would be a sad-but-sweet and silent scene as Happy Hogan and Morgan Stark sit quietly on the front porch of the Stark cabin, eating their cheeseburgers as a callback to the very first Iron Man film.

Whatever Marvel will decide to come up with this many scenes, it will entertain audiences like they always have in the past 11 years.

All of these scenes would further flesh out the MCU, post-humorously add actors into films and  make fans happy about the post-credits scenes we never got to see.

Avengers Assemble!!
