I care! I care to wanna grow at least 3 plants to accommodate my health. I’m gonna be 62 in a couple weeks and I’m a retired CNA. Just over total knee replacement and right now THC helps me through my much needed knee strengthening exercises. I stretch further and longer. I also have degenerative disc and bone disease and RH. Plus it helps me smile and I enjoy it!
So let’s just legalize it.
Thank you for reading this. Please keep in mind that you too made need this some time. Isn’t it considered a herb? A medical herb and I feel the NO votes are being selfish. I wouldn’t write this if I didn’t believe. I believe our voices need to be” REALLY” heard!
Thanks again!🍁
So many of the classes I've needed to take to fulfill the psychology major's requirements have been only online for me, or by the time I've gotten to pick my classes, that's all that's left. The online fees add up to quite a lot of money and oftentimes they're the only option available, this has been a frustration of mine since I started at UWGB.
As a fellow Junior in the psych program, I cannot agree more! I live in Two Rivers and work full time. My local campus is in Manitowoc. There are very slim in person courses in Manitowoc. I do not have the means to take off my full time job and drive 45 minutes to Green Bay on a daily basis to enroll in classes. It's just not right to ask for $25 more per credit when this is some people's (including mine) only option to take classes.
As a student who can only take classes online since I also work a full time job, the distance fees are a real struggle when trying to finance my tuition. Getting rid of the distance fees will help me financially because I will only be budgeting for the class fee instead of the class fee along with a $25 charge per credit.
I am a full time student at UWGB, also working full time to pay for my schooling. The best option for my education in this circumstance is online classes and it’s not fair that I have to pay extra. I would love to attend in person classes instead but it just doesn’t fit in my schedule.
I have had so many friends as well as myself be forced to take almost full semesters online, even while living ON campus. The entire point of living on campus is to be in person, learning directly from your professors. Most online classes I’ve experienced are recycled and outdated with no contact with professors or other students. Before COVID, online classes were an occasional option, now, over five years later, they feel like a cop out to teaching. Adding on an additional fee doesn’t make any sense to me. Charging more for a class you’ll get less out of? And having there be no option? No one should be forced to pay online additional fees.
I’m a full time student and just recently got a full time job to help pay for my school as I don’t get help from anything else. Psychology classes are mainly online, why should I pay more for the school not offering it?
Education is a Universal Basic Human Right! Basic education should be free, and mandatory. While I’m at it, housing, healthcare, food and water should All Be Attainable On Minimum Wage! They are not. We have more homeless kids in USA than ever.
Having to pay extra for an online course you already need in order to graduate is insane levels of nickel and diming that on top of the preexisting tuition is inexcusable.
