Sgt Gonos is a dear friend of mine and a brother whom I served two deployments with on the USS Boxer. In 2013 we were on the 13th MEU together and there was an incident where fuel and other unknown contaminants in the drinking water all throughout the ship. I am lucky to not yet have any symptoms of medical issues however there are many Marines and Sailors coming out now with medical related issues to this incident. Sergeant Gonos deserves justice along with all other service members exposed to hazardous drinking water while serving onboard the USS Boxer.

I could barely wear a bra from the pain. I tried for 4 months to lose the same weight I just lost in 4 weeks. What happened after I lost it killing by body to do so and not being able to do anything but exercise an hour a day? Prednisone for a month for autominnue issues put it back on in 3 weeks. Why should we have surgeries when we can prevent other diseases, improve our health and our quality of life? Because the 1% loses money. I stopped taking other medications since taking this. It is not covered by my insurance, only one of the several pharmacies carry the brand prescription and I can not afford to pay the costs of brand prescriptions. I have arthritis in both my knees and it is imperative that I lose weight. If the compound medication is not available I will not be able to use this medication.

It’s awful that we have medication at our hands that can prevent diabetes yet we’re not allowed to have it without being diabetic. Which is what works since I can draw a lower dose than is available by preloaded, brand name suppliers (Eli Lilly looking at you!). I take a MICRODOSE. 2.5mL is the starting dose, but my body tolerates only 2mL. I get too sick with side effects if I go higher. I know my body. It’s my choice. There is still profit to be made, but a monopoly on someone’s health isn’t how it’s done. DO NOT HARM ELI LILLY.
