We, the undersigned, demand justice for survivors of medical sexual abuse at the hands of:

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar and Dr. Aido Abdu at Poplar Avenue Clinic in Memphis, TN. (6584 Poplar Ave 4th Floor, Suite 400, Memphis, TN 38138)

Dr. Kumar is currently facing a 23-count federal indictment that includes coercing women across state lines for illegal sex acts, performing unnecessary medical procedures, reusing unsterilized equipment, and insurance fraud.

Despite this, a court recently allowed his clinic to reopen under certain conditions—a shocking decision that puts women at risk. Over 200 women have come forward in recent weeks to report abuse connected to this clinic and its doctors.

Yet justice has been slow.

Survivors have spoken to the FBI, but no permanent closure or removal of medical licenses has occurred.

This is unacceptable.

We demand:

• Permanent closure of Poplar Avenue Clinic

• Revocation of medical licenses for Dr. Sanjeev Kumar and Dr. Aido Abdu
• Public investigation and transparency from the Tennessee Department of Health

• Accountability from federal agencies that have failed to protect women.

This petition is not just about one case—it’s about standing up for survivors and preventing further abuse of power in the medical field.
