Dear GLP-1 Advocates & Allies,  

I cannot thank you enough for your signature, your comments, and your support. Because of you, I've been able to take this petition even further.

This month, the GLP-1 Collective nonprofit submitted a formal letter to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) that included more than 27,000 signatures and 400 comments. Thanks to your support, this petition has now been part of several major outreach efforts and featured in nine media articles highlighting the fight for affordable GLP-1 access.

Next, I’ll be heading to ObesityWeek in Atlanta this November. This conference is one of the largest stages in the world for obesity research and it just doesn’t feel right to have an event called ObesityWeek without talking about the access barriers that are keeping patients obese.

GLP-1 Meetup Plans: 

• Key advocates will be attending the conference to represent patient voices directly inside the event
• Gatherings in the halls and on the steps with live-stream panels
• Matching T-shirts for maximum visibility, with media coverage and a GLP-1 documentary film crew on site
• Downsized has a booth and meetup of their own
