Our petition for affordable GLP-1s: 2 years later

Almost two years ago, more than 27,000 of us came together to demand affordable access to GLP-1 medications. More than 400 people shared their stories, and I sent your signatures and comments to the FDA twice and to the USPTO.
A lot has changed since then.
This petition helped bring national media attention to the fight for affordable access.
It became part of a much larger advocacy effort that has continued to grow. Since then, we've seen cheaper cash-pay options and some positive changes in coverage. There is still a long way to go, but this petition had an impact because of you.
I'm still advocating.
I founded the GLP-1 Collective, a nonprofit focused on access and education. We recently updated our website and added an access tracker where people can report when they've lost access, so that we can document how widespread this problem really is.
I also became a certified health coach and recently helped co-found Cozy Butter, a free GLP-1 community built to support patients at every stage of their journey. I lead free group health coaching sessions there. We have live Q&As with obesity specialists, support groups, in-person meetups, and classes on self-advocacy. I'd love for you to join us.
But most importantly, please keep sharing this petition and keep sharing your story. Because when you advocate for yourself, you advocate for all of us.
This petition can still make an impact. There are more than 27,000 of us now. Imagine what happens when there are 50,000. Or 100,000. The bigger it gets, the harder it is to ignore.
Please keep sharing the petition.
We made a difference by speaking up together then, and we can still make a difference by speaking up now.
with love,
