I’ve taken Armour Thyroid for years! The synthetic versions/options don’t work for me. I also don’t think it’s fair that we have to pay such a high out of pocket fee when this is a much needed medication that works well for so many people (and it’s natural). Natural is always better! We shouldn’t be penalized for doing good things for our health!
The FDA IS WRONG! NDT medications saved my life, whereas synthroid destroyed my health. Our bodies are not meant for conversion alone. NDT medications contain T4, T3, T2, T1, and calcitonin, everything our thyroids produce.
My thyroid was removed. My best treatment results are with Armour Thyroid and Cytomel.
Please leave our meds alone!
Years of adjustments on synthetics that left me lifeless before being transitioned to NDT. NDT has given me my life back. In 15 years I’ve NEVER had any of the proported negative issues the FDA has outlined. This decision should be left up to patients and their physicians. I’m terrified to go backwards in my treatment. Horrified actually. I beg of you to reconsider.
NDT made such a difference in my life. Not long ago it’s tier was changed and was no longer covered by insurance as it was. It is a lifesaving necessity like insulin and should be covered.
This is the only medication that has ever worked for me. I've spent my entire life battling obesity-related complications/illnesses, and I can't take Wegovy due to the side effects. Please restore this to the formulary! It's a critical medication for many people.
