Margaret Johnson Children Foundation is seeking the growth of nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating physical, mental, spiritual, emotional child abuse and neglect as a major health problem by preventing abuse and helping children through research, education, advocacy, and service. The Center for Desease Control (CDC) reports that the maltreatment of children over a lifetime will cost the United States Government $124 billion dollars each year. The ultimate goal is to stop violence against children before it starts.

We are focused of educating a population of pregnant mothers; couples trying to conceive; and new parents of all ages on newborn, child and adolescent psychological development. More now than ever, there is a growing concern about the current generation. With mental and intellectual disabilities, as well as, teenage and adolescent suicide on the rise, this organization focuses on reducing emotional conflicts that arise when parents are not aware or educated on the impact their behavior and parenting style affects their child in the future. The organization uses funds to support our volunteers in their efforts to share their professional knowledge; it also helps to provide travel expense for at-home visits as well as additional service and financial support for those who have a financial need. Please help us raise awareness and funds for prevention. We are also in need national statistics on how many children are being sexually abused, child abduction, violated against teachers and clergyman.
