I’m just one of many concerned US Citizens that have noticed everything around us has increased in our communities worldwide. Some of our basic tools for human survival being food and shelter are all be capitalized upon with no end in site! We have seen increases in rent upwards $1000 for single bedroom homes post pandemic also they are wanting you to make upwards 3.5 times the rent to qualify and upwards $300 for application fees. Yet we have seen no increase in minimum wage or effort from businesses with no unions help to meet these new standards economically. So good luck if you need more than 1 bedroom or a single parent! 

Example: Pre-Pandemic 1br home $1,000 per month 2.0 times to qualify $50 to apply $2,000 monthly $24,000 per year US Median Income $31,133 Example: Post-Pandemic 1br home $2,000 per month 3.5 times to qualify $350 to apply $7,000 per month $84,000 per year???? US Median Income $31,133????

That means the average American Home is struggling to apply for housing not only are they struggling to apply and qualify for housing they are also struggling to maintain it! This is not EQUAL OPPORTUNITY HOUSING if only 12.2% of Americans even qualify for a decent apartment! We have to come together to force rental housing regulations NOW! Veterans are losing homes! Families are being displaced!
