Ban the pesticides in Canada which affect the environment and Save the bees

The Issue

The Pesticides, whose name literally means '' nicotine-like'' are killing the bees which are vital to producing crops such as fruits, vegetables, almonds and other essential food products. The effects are similar to those of nicotine in humans; not only is the pesticide detrimental to their health, but bees also tend to prefer it to their own food source.  Bees that are exposed to pesticides can experience problems with their central nervous systems, often resulting in impaired memory, movement and even death.

For years, beekeepers have warned that the pesticides are killing our hives.  Any major decline in honeybee numbers have severe implications for the human diet which includes the health and medicinal positive impact that honey provides.

Bees pollinate about a third of the worlds crops like soybean, cotton, corn and coffee beans which are being sprayed by pesticides which can leech into the water supplies, which then are absorbed by flowers such as dandelions that serve as vital food sources for Bees.

High doses of the pesticides also make the honeybees less tolerant to a virus called Chronic Bee Paralysis, which can kill them which obviously destroys the ability to reproduce and threatens the lives of Queen bees who are the backbone of a hive. .
