Debbie Nash-King is a dedicated public servant and accomplished professional with a strong background in social work and human resources. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas, a Master's in Human Resources from Tarleton State University, and a Master's in Social Work from the University of California. Nash-King has served as the Mayor of the City of Killeen and has been an influential figure in numerous roles, including Site Director at Communities in Schools and Vice President of Killeen's NAACP. Her career also includes positions such as Career Counselor at Fort Hood, Texas, Family Readiness Assistant at the 1st Brigade 1st Cavalry Division, and Veteran Representative at the Texas Veterans Commission. A former Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, she has also served as a Councilmember for District 2 in the City of Killeen and worked with the Transition Assistance Program at Soldier for Life.
