Imagine the chronic boredom of not being able to scroll Instagram or listen to music. Even worse: not being able to conversate with friends and family from a distance!! We are literally regressing our education and mental health by banning personal devices. You need to also consider the fact that some people use their phones to aid them, whether that be for cognitive support or communication. If they ban headphones/earbuds as well, then there will be riots. Some people need music to focus, and some people use headphones to block out noise because they have sensory issues that make socializing extremely difficult. To whoever passed this law, no offense, but this was clearly not thought out very clearly. Banning devices during instructional time was tolerable, but throughout the entire school? That's pushing it too far. This will backlash.

Please unblock this site.It is very useful for us as students to amp up our studying and be more efficient. Also as a person who has experience in coding I think it would be useful for kids especially those in 7th and 8th grade to have this in their bag of resources

In my school we have a Minecraft club after school. We do more than just play Minecraft, rather we also compete against other schools in a build competition called the Battle of the Boroughs. However, because of Zscaler, it has blocked students from playing Minecraft Educaton on multiplayer on chromebooks. This prevents a majority of students within the club from playing Minecraft and worst of all, it stops alot of our members from collaborating in build projects when we have to prepare for the Battle of the Boroughs. So, on behalf of the John Dewey High School minecraft club, I stand with this message.
Kyle supported: Fix Zscaler
