I have a 5 year old daughter and when I read the story I cried and I’m hurt that any Human or kid can do this to a precious babygirl. She needs justice and the justice system isn’t helping enough or isn’t moving fast enough. Giving these horrible families time too move and possibly go an do this to another kid!!!! STOP THEM BEFORE THEY HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE!!! It’s already to late because it’s happened already but PLEASE don’t give them anymore chances to do anything to anyone else!!!! They need too know what they done to her is not forgiven and they need too pay. They almost took her life, a 5 year olds little girls life!!!!! She did not deserve any of that but they do deserve whatever punishment this world gives them. It’s was simple horrific, devilish, monstrous, these monsters have to pay no matter the age!!!!!!!! They need to be help ACCOUNTABLE!!!!!

My heart breaks that this happened to this precious baby. I have dear grandchildren, and I can’t imagine this happening to them. It’s unfathomable. Especially by kids close to their age group! This act of violence, and brutality against this precious girl was disturbing, disgusting, demonic, despicable and deplorable. The fact that the “villains” are 10 and under is mind-boggling. But they should be held accountable just as if they are grown. They carried out a sickening action and should be charged accordingly. Don’t play the “juvenile card.” What they did is egregious and horrific. They should be charged to the fullest extent of the law and sent to an adult prison, because NOTHING about what they did was juvenile. I’m praying for this little girl and her family to recover and heal. But I’m truly praying justice will be served upon her vile attackers! Heartbreaking. 💔

She deserves to be heard her mothers deserve to pray and hope the system will see through this and punish those demonic kids who did this to her child. As a mother of a 6 year old myself this is my greatest fear every day my child isn’t on my sight. I pray in and day out that my child won’t experience this because I know my mind will not let me seek peace because I couldn’t protect my her. I am behind you on this petition keep fighting justice will be served 🥺

Huge yikes from Bishop Carroll “Catholic” High School. If this actually happens, I’ve officially lost all respect for this school. What ever happened to amplifying student voices? Austin’s speech was amazing—-he spoke from the heart. As someone who struggled throughout high school at times, it was comforting to hear even our valedictorian had struggles, like everyone else. His speech touched me and even made me cry. Never once in his speech was anything inappropriate said. He didn’t bash the school, an individual, or an organization. If he had done that, I would understand, but that is not what happened. Forcing the valedictorian and salutatorian to follow a practically prewritten script is ridiculous and needs to be done away with. After 4 years of hard work, the least Bishop Carroll can do is to let them say what they want, however long they want. Please reconsider this decision, BC does not need the reputation of censoring student voices.

As a BC parent who attended the graduation ceremony, I enjoyed Austin’s speech. He spoke with grace, humility, and authenticity—qualities we hope to see in the next generation of leaders. His words resonated not only with the students but also with us parents who have supported our children through their academic journeys. Austin embodies the true spirit of a valedictorian: academic excellence, leadership, and integrity. To deny him the recognition he has rightfully earned sends the wrong message—not just to him, but to all the students who look up to what hard work and dedication can achieve. I fully support this petition and urge the school to do the right thing by awarding Austin his valedictorian medal.

I was present at the graduation ceremony & am a BC Alum. I really enjoyed Austin’s heart felt speech & it seemed so meaningful & seemed to be enjoyed by his fellow students as I heard multiple ones talking about it afterwards. I have set through many of these speeches over the years & this speech will probably be my most memorable as I thought it is great that a young g man with his sort of intellect can’t relate to the common students thoughts, worries & experiences. Not all but many of these speeches students I e met over the years with his accomplishments are socially awkward- Austin is nothing of the sort- he is the common students hero. He even met it be known in his speech that it wasn’t the speech he’d turned in. He was hiding nothing & there was NOTHING wrong or disrespectful in his speech. It would be a travesty if this young many is penalized in any way after the positive way he has represented himself & his high school over all these years! I as an alum will be embarrassed of my high school if it punishes this upstanding young man regarding his meaningful speech that was so well accepted by his peers & so relatable to the common person! Shane on you BC if you’re punishing this young man! He has represented BC for years & you have bragged on his achievements with no problems or concerns do I hope you reevaluate your decision & applaud this young man or simply ignore it wasn’t the exact same speech previously turned in mainly because there was NOTHING wrong w/ this speech. It was a great speech deliver in good taste!
