Tax credits are a vital aspect of fiscal policy, offering individuals and businesses incentives to stimulate economic growth and support specific sectors. Recent trends show a growing interest in renewable energy tax credits and childcare tax credits to address environmental concerns and support working parents. Petitions seek to expand tax credits for families struggling to make ends meet and advocate for fairer tax policies that benefit marginalized communities.
One petition gaining momentum calls for an expansion of the Child Tax Credit to provide financial relief for low-income families, highlighting the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on children living in poverty. Another petition focuses on increasing tax credits for clean energy initiatives to combat climate change and promote sustainable practices.
Join the movement by exploring these petitions and adding your voice to push for equitable tax credit policies that uplift individuals and communities in need. Together, we can advocate for meaningful change and create a more inclusive and prosperous society.

Since Eileen left, the condition of this complex has noticeably declined. The floors are filthy, the trash rooms are consistently dirty, and the washers and dryers are rarely—if ever—maintained or sanitized. The stairwells reek of dog urine, and trash is scattered throughout the property. The basketball courts, the only recreational area for children, have been locked up since COVID with no sign of reopening.
The front door is frequently broken, posing a serious security risk as anyone can enter the building. The garage gate has been out of service for what feels like forever. While this may be considered a “low-income” housing complex, that should not excuse the lack of consistent management and basic maintenance.
There are no amenities available to residents—not even access to the community room. We should feel proud to come home and feel safe where we live, but unfortunately, that’s not the case.
We all have experienced pest infestation, filthy laundry areas that clearly have no maintenance, and many other causes for concern. Many of us including myself have gotten our vehicles damaged by the parking structure gate with no follow-up from management. There needs to be a significant change. It makes me wonder if we are being looked down upon or even discriminated against because we are low income.
The fact that we are low income families and they are charging us a ton of money for rent is crazy. If it has all kinds of amenities. Why aren’t they investing in their property. Broken doors meaning the entrance. Anyone can just come in. Laundry machines broken or not well maintained, infestation, dirty neighbors, failed “inspection” routines, dirty walls of hallways and trash rooms. And lastly no hot water for days. This is out of pocket.
My family and I just barely moved in about a month ago and it’s one thing after another. First the main entrance is broken. The laundry facility is properly maintained and machines are broken. No hot water for days. Infestation and dirty neighbors who don’t know how to keep clean. Inspection isn’t working clearly. And now a broken garage door. We’ve asked for a discount on the rent due to all these problems. And no response. No action . So hopefully they do something about this. It’s absurd. I have a 1 year old and this is not safe or sanitary.
My uterus is not for sale! I do not want biological children, ever. Instead of trying to force and pressure women into a motherhood they don’t want and can’t afford, why not make a society that actually supports and protects the children who already exist in foster care
