Living at Mesa Verde Apartments, located at 7785 Mission Gorge Rd, San Diego, CA, has been a struggle due to the severe mismanagement by Conam Management Corporation hired by Chelsea Investment Corporation.

I've witnessed firsthand the multitude of issues that plague our community, from overwhelming pest infestations to neglected maintenance requests, rising crime and days without hot water. All have been met with an appalling lack of empathy and response from both management and the owners.

Residents like myself deserve to live in a safe, sanitary, and secure environment. Unfortunately, the current state of the apartments falls short. Pest problems have become a daily burden, with insects infiltrating living spaces and threatening our health and well-being. These pest issues are not only unsanitary but also potentially hazardous.

In addition to pest control concerns, safety and security within our premises are jeopardized. Recent incidents of crime have left us feeling vulnerable in our own homes, a place where we should feel most secure. Despite repeated pleas for help and improved safety measures, we receive little to no response.

After attempts to reach out to Management and the owners still no resolve has been made. A request for rent concessions for all households for the days our community was without hot water had not been agreed to. In fact management stands by their staff and response as reasonable and proactive. 

It is imperative that immediate actions are taken to address these concerns. Property management must enforce regular and thorough pest control measures to eliminate infestations. They must also prioritize maintenance requests and enhance security on the premises, including repair of common area lighting and surveillance systems.

We call on the property management and owners of Mesa Verde Apartments to fulfill their obligations and provide a living environment that respects our basic rights to safety and sanitation. By signing this petition, you are supporting the demand for urgent improvements and ensuring a better quality of life for the residents of Mesa Verde Apartments and demanding the following:

• Response to maintenance requests within 48 hours
• Response to emergency maintenance requests within 24 hours
• Repair to common area lighting and security cameras
• Repair to front door access and control panel
• Repair to and sanitation of laundry facilities
• Complete clean out for all units in need of pest control
• Rent concessions to all residents for lack of hot water
• Implementation of onsite resident services to meet the needs of our community
• Community meeting with CRIME-FREE MULTI-HOUSING PROGRAM specialist and plan to stop crime in our community. 
• Change of management company that can implement and maintain this call to action if necessary
