Please support my young cousin and his friends and family in bringing a skate park to the Hummelstown community. Kids need healthy activities and safe gathering places now more than ever, and with your help these kids can see their dreams come true through hard work, advocacy, and dedication. Thank you!
Michelle supported: A Skatepark is Needed in Hummelstown
My family loves our local skate park. I was just there yesterday teaching one my kids how to ride down the smooth drops and into the bowl.

We have a community gold mine n the skateboard park. If it works for Al the skateboarders that use it, why fix it by tearing down. This idea is ridiculous and counterproductive, why destroy something that works for our children and adults who use it. If anything, the skateboarder park should be enhanced and improved. That is an investment and in our community,

This where I learned to love action sports again. This is where I met my friends that I now call brothers. This placed helped me more than anyone could imagine. This park is one of a kind. To tear it out for a Sacramento type plaza park is terrible. Let’s the generations to come decide what to do, not 50+ year old men who’s knees won’t even work soon.

The skatepark was always a treasure growing up. Many of the youths from my generation spent a substantial about of time there. Encouraging today’s youth to get out there and get active is always going to be a net positive in my book. I do not understand why tearing it down and replacing it with a smaller less effective version benefits the community in any way.

DIY skateparks show the brilliance and creativity local skaters are capable of achieving. Giving people a space that values artistic direction and architectural design is something to be celebrated!
Rob supported: Support a DIY Skatepark at Hanna Park
skateparks should be designed by avid local skateboarders or at least those who genuinely understand contemporary skateboarding
Seth supported: Keep Skatepark Design in the Hands of Skaters
I believe it's imperative to provide skate parks for our youth. Skate parks provide safe areas for young people to skate. Rather than the skaters having to skate on public buildings private properties sidewalks in addition skating has a no drug culture. This is a beneficial side effect of skating. Drugs delinquency or plaguing our society. By building skate parks I believe that we will give our youth a safe place to express themselves.
Nikolaos supported: Build a skatepark at Sawyer Point
This would be a great and beneficial step towards a more inclusive Cincinnati parks project. Skateboarding is a great outlet for kids and adults alike. It it physically active, creative, teaches discipline and community building. I think this would be one of the most beneficial uses of space, considering there isn’t a single skatepark within Cincinnati proper
Andy supported: Build a skatepark at Sawyer Point
Cincinnati needs a skatepark just like every big city needs a skatepark. An outlet for youth. A community for a culture that’s needs supported. Athletic, artistic, creative, self expression. Create a place people come to from all over to enjoy. Not only for a skatepark but for the industries that also help keep the city alive. The restaurants the entertainment etc. incorporate it into blink. Have fun creative concrete art to visually and physically enjoy for skaters and viewers alike.
