I’m tired of living in constant fear just to be outside.
Ticks aren’t just a nuisance — they carry real, life-altering risks. And right now, there’s no reliable system in place to protect people. The medical system is already exhausting to navigate. Adding something like Lyme — which is often dismissed or misdiagnosed — makes it feel hopeless.
I’ve done the research. I’ve taken precautions. And yet, I still don’t feel safe.
This is about preventing harm before it happens — and asking for public health to meet us halfway. No one should feel like they have to sacrifice peace of mind to enjoy a cottage weekend or a walk in a city park.
If you’ve ever felt anxious, ignored, or brushed off when you raised concerns — this petition is for you too.
Our governments have failed Palestine in so many ways. These aren't just numbers, they're real human beings with identities. Keep speaking up. Keep pressuring authorities. Never let them silence you.
My daughter has hearing aids and loud noise affects her so much that we have to avoid this pool.
Before she was in Kindergarten we were able to find times that would work.
There are not enough open swims during the week at reasonable hours that force all the kids to only be able to go at the one time increasing the overall noise.
Please take this petition seriously.

Considering all of the people in the Valley with sensory issues, brain injuries, neurodivergent children and adults, people swimming with small children who need to hear them over the din, and people just looking for a nice, quiet swim - I can't believe there is not even 1 quiet time. Frankly, it should be the norm, with music during teen swims or special events.
As a parent, I need to hear my kids. Music and trying to keep tabs on my kids, is too stimulating and we all end up grumpy and overwhelmed. The car ride home is terrible. For me it makes me really anxious to not be able to hear my kids when I’m looking for them, water safety is important. Especially when a wave pool is involved.
As a retired family doctor, I am horrified that so many patients are contracting measles when a very protective vaccine available. Nobody’s child should contract measles and then become seriously ill or die as a result. This is preventable!
