My daughter died on November 17th of 2024 she left behind her 10 year old daughter Brooklyn, Cps put her with what they call "fiktive kin" a term passed through legislation in 2023 if you read the statute it states this is used for children who have no family, she has 2 loving grandparents, 4 aunts and 2 uncles and we as a family are fighting this! The "fiktive kin" does this for money she has 2 other foster kids in a small trailer, we her grandparents have a 5 bedroom home where she has her own room and her family has an established relationship with the child since she was born! "Fiktive kin" has friends in Child Protective Services and that is the only reason she has my granddaughter! I can't believe the bias in this case!
I was just in small claims court on Monday with Burdick and was very disappointed with his ruling. I had completed a job for someone in the community who refused to pay me. It was very clear in court that I was owed money and I had even caught her in a blatant lie under oath which Burdick did not take into consideration if he even realized it as he was clearly not paying very close attention to anything and constantly mixing up information presented. Leaving court I felt there could be no way that the judge would not rule in my favor so I was shocked to see that he had ruled that I was owed no money at all. After finding this petition I now understand that he probably gave it very little to no thought and clearly has no interest in truly serving justice. Fortunately for me it was a small matter of a little over 1,000 dollars but was frustrating none the less. After reading all of these comments my heart truly goes out to anyone dealing with this judge in family matters, I can only imagine the level of frustration and anger some of these parents and children must be feeling. This man has no place in a courthouse and should be thrown in jail. He has no interest in upholding justice.
"I have audio of this judge mocking me while I pleaded for my daughter, who is on the spectrum. He also denied my ex parte request, allowing my toddlers to remain in supervised visits—when they never should have been taken in the first place. The mediator and CPS twisted the facts, and now my children are suffering because of it. This judge is not just failing families—he is actively harming them."
