I am a non-custodial parent whose rights were vilotated by the commissioner, John Wesley Burdick, of Joshua Tree Courthouse, on multiple occasions. I am not the only parent whose parental rights were violated by this commissioner. He has taken advantage of his power and has judged using: personal vendettas, bias decisions, racism, ignorance, extortion, and favoritism.

His performance as a commissioner is in question. He should be charged with durilection of duty and be held accountable for supporting: parental alienation, baiting, communication interference, visitation interference, emotional child abuse, physical child abuse, extortion, bad/difficult co-parenting, narcissistic behaviors, and so much more.

He should be charged with judicial misconduct for his personal behavior when it comes to ruling. He has engaged in personal behaviors that makes his judicial integrity questionable: example: used an excuse of his red-headed child that got confused and called him by first name, to justify a child being forced to call father by first name while in the presence of his mother. Ignoring the claim that a child's mother committed parental alienation.

He has ignored claims, the mother violated court orders and refused to provide child with child counseling.

He has failed to enforce the custodial parent to follow court orders and constantly leaves court orders vague, giving the custodial parent full power to control custody rather than being flexible.

He denied child counseling because he already knew the outcome, which said it would be fixed, which hadn't been fixed for years.

He has denied equal custody, stating it is impossible to enforce.

Commited extortion: uses threats of charging parent's attorney fees and other associated fees if the parent proceeds with filing claims against the other parent.

Violated rights by leaving the courtroom to make calls to professional doctors and mediators pertaining to 730 evaluations and mediations. Then, after such calls, he made his decision to deny both recommendations that a child should be with their father. 

Ignored claims of child abuse caused by the mother and her boyfriend.

Ignored claims of parental alienation committed by both the child's mother and her boyfriend.

He has made inappropriate comments against family traditions of specific ethnicities.

He plays favorites and discriminates against federal government employees and members of the armed forces.

He clearly judges against the one who makes the most to support cash flow through the department of child support services. Using children for their cash value rather than their emotional status.

Violates parental rights: allowing other parents to break court orders without punishment, contains a god-like complex, allows custodial parents to move outside of county and state.

John Wesley Burdick is part of the problem that so many children go without both parents in their lives.

He has treated so many parents as deadbeat parents without any cause or proof.

He has allowed so many parents to use their children as cash cows.

He has treated his chair as a quarter million dollar throne.

 

Course of action the Commission of Judicial Performance should take:

Force John Wesley Burdick to resign without pension.
Charge John Wesley Burdick with child abuse, extortion, judicial misconduct, and durilection of duty.
Be removed from state BAR and not allowed to follow the career path of attorney, commissioner, or judge.

Also, to allow previous parents whose rights were violated to file class action lawsuit against John Wesley Burdick for retribution.

Or, charge John Wesley Burdick and incarcerate him for his heinous crimes against the local community and county. Hold him accountable for failing to uphold his promise to be fair and just, which he clearly violates on a daily basis.

We, the people, will not tolerate an unchecked judge, commissioner, or attorney who simply takes advantage of parents who simply want justice.
