MATHia kills me mentally. I have completed every circle on a workspace, except one. This one circle is always the most annoying and time-consuming one. Another thing about the circles is that you can be a quarter of a millimeter away from filling it. Then the student has to do a whole nother problem with no mistakes to fill that millimeter. It also confuses me that when you get an answer wrong, it takes the blue circle farther down than when it goes up if you get an answer right. I used to not mind math. Carnegie Learning has ruined my life for the past three years. It might be the hardest version of in-class math that I have ever done. The solver is another issue. It works at telling kids what to do, but it only does that on certain problems/workspaces. My stress levels when doing MATHia skyrocket. I bet other students agree. Even teachers don't like it. They have to grade more homework instead of spending time alone or with their family. Same with Delta Math. That's for another topic. MATHia needs to be banned nation-wide because it is a disgrace to school districts, teachers, and students.

It will improve their motivation to learn, but MATHia is doing the opposite. It makes kids groan when they hear the word... it makes children ache when they are told they have to do it. Not only that, but it doesn't even look motivating. Lacks colours that would make it easier to read. Colour that would really make it POP and would be more appealing to the eye. In addition, it adds a lot of pressure, work, and it's practically a waste of time. Many students just look at it and put in random answers, not truly understanding the concept. I have seven Mathias due this Friday, and I have only one done because there are so many words and the words do not look appealing, therefore I can't focus. Mathia needs to go down. Other people's petitions seem like kids just don't like math, but it can actually be fun if you have the inspiration! If you don't want to write a say, at least upvote this remark.
Long story short, Mathia is not what we need for students to learn. Upvote this remark or make your own so we can take Mathia down.

I know multiple people who have had to buy a new computer because they broke there from frustration due to MATHia. The scores we get from MATHia in the grade book bring your grade down way too much if you don;t do it. I had a B+ and didn't do my MATHia one time now I have a D. I don't understand how this is supposed to help we already use the MATHia curriculum on packets and homework everyday. and now MATHia. I though you guys wanted us to get off screen more. Stop frying out brains. But assign us 2 weeks of MATHia, that takes about 2 -4 hours a day just to complete. Plus other homework, including math, and extracurricular's. You call us lazy for not doing it and yet you provide and encourage and make us pay for sports and theater. and make us spend 8 hours a day +4-5 on homework 5 days a week half our year most of our life. Now we have MATHia to add to that. I say NO. Give us everything else. BUT NO MATHia. There are even glitches that say they are wrong the first time causing the circle to go back and stay blue and when you put the same answer again it says its right. Which make the circle stay in place and never finish the work space. Do you understand how many times I have stayed up all night doing MATHia. Then you say "Why are you failing my classes?" "Get more sleep, it will help" STOPPPPPPPP! This is literally 286 words long!

When there is a graph and you graph the number it make the point fly off the graph. Mark it wrong and when you put it in the same spot it says its right but because it was wrong the 1st time it keep making the circle go back and staying blue. STUPID. UGH. Do you understand how many times I have stayed up all night doing MATHia. Then you wonder why we are failing school and tell us to "get more sleep, it will help." STOPPPPPPP!

It really adheres to only a select amount of people that can do all of it no problem and not to others who have difficulties getting things done efficiently like that. It's such a pain.

I was getting 90+ on every single class, BUT algebra. Ruined my GPA completely for the whole freshman year. Now I have geometry and Mathia is still present!! not as needed as before but it is still for a grade EVERY SINGLE WEEK. completely draining we are high school students isn't this supposed to be the time where you enjoy your adolescence? I am 16 managing a job, car payment, Mathia, and ap classes.
