As a resident of Richmond and part of a family that's lived here for decades, I would like to make it known that we do not agree with the decisions this city's leadership has made in regards to the well being of the people in this city. A man may say he values family and good will, but decide to violate our unalienable human rights. We can't ignore harmful actions in favor of empty words. We deserve to be heard. We will defend our rights.
Megan supported: Urge Richmond Indiana City Officials to Reinstate the Human Rights Commission
Decent, affordable housing in Richmond is very scarce. Displacing homeless instead of offering assistance is not a solution, neither is supporting slum lords who's properties aren't fit for animals to live in. Let's work toward solutions instead of punishing them for being poor.
Pamela supported: Urge Richmond Indiana City Officials to Reinstate the Human Rights Commission
People deserve to feel safe and protected, someone behaving like she did in public without repercussions would truly show that the LGBTQ community is not safe or protected. It is a basic human right to feel safe, to be able to leave with fear of harassment or an early grave. Imagine how traumatizing, tiring, irritating, frustrating this is for them. She is sending extremists after young people who are lgbtq. Protect them.
Alicia supported: Demand UC Davis fire Beth Bourne
This exclusion of our fellow human beings has got to stop. This nation is in crisis because so many are afraid of reciprocation. At least let’s stop this harassment and hate in our own community.
Jody supported: Demand UC Davis fire Beth Bourne
