If I lose medicaid, I will most certainly die. It is essential to my survival to have access to my doctors and medications. And I am not the only one.

Since the recent election, I have watched Republicans vilify federal employees—calling them parasites and targets—while the head of OMB openly stated his intent to “traumatize” workers to deter them from returning to their jobs. The dismantling of our agencies has created a national security threat, and now they are turning their attacks on civilians.
Meanwhile, Congress has ceded its authority, allowing the president to consolidate power within the executive branch. They promised not to touch Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security—yet those very programs are now under threat. This is a blatant breach of trust that endangers lives and weakens our national security. I urge our leaders to stand up against these dangerous actions before it’s too late.
