Texas ranks 42nd in funding for students in public education. If legislators care about excellence, we should be in the top 10, not the lower. Texas has the 8th largest economy IN THE WORLD, so let’s put our money were it counts…students are our future!

Since COVID the youth have developed certain study habits revolving around devices, going from only able to communicate with friends and even doing work and school completely on a device to not being able to use it at all is destroying the youths ability to be able to communicate with each other the only way they know how to from COVID. And with the new times, students have developed their own ways to study through technology. I personally use my iPad and Laptop to take notes and study throughout the halls using my phone. Also, most of my friends don't even go to my school, and I contact and talk to them through my phone, especially through school. In conclusion, I find this report to be absolutely ridiculous, and firmly believe there are better methods to reduce mental health.
