As a former homeschool parent, K-12, I can testify to the benefits of home education with 4 successful adult children, one of which is homeschooling her own now. As a current vendor for multiple charter schools, the benefits these families receive for their specific needs and extracurriculars cannot be calculated. It allows a streamlining of education for each child that a one size fits all classroom can never accomplish. I vigorously ask you to oppose AB 84, it hurts the least of these and burdens the bankrupt state each year with costs that cannot be sustained.
Both of my young children attend non traditional tutoring classes made possible by charter funds. These classes give them more explicit and targeted learning opportunities to fit their learning styles. Losing these funds or classes would be devastating and detrimental to my children and their learning. Please oppose this bill AB 84
My children go to charter school. Don’t take away our funding and freedoms to choose what school or education is best for our children! Vote NO on AB 84.
The harm, the effect that pornography has on people, not just, but children aswell. Little girls are getting raped, and little boys watch porn with their friends on fridays like its football. Porn changes our perception of sex to the point where most dont know what a healthy sexual relationship looks like. Pedophilia and sexism is huge in the porn industry, which enforces toxic standards for women. This isnt just a mental issue, it is already a physical one where actual real people are constantly getting abused and raped due to some pimps porn addiction.
Children and women are being abused, monetized, commodified, and their lives are being actively ruined everyday through pornhub and other sites and social media. That is the price society is willing to pay for a little self pleasure that will end in a moment. This issue is incredibly stigmatized and an agenda that protects the abuse of women, children, and men is embraced, instead of us protecting the vulnerable and marginalized. That is the opposite of human rights and the opposite of what the world has claimed to desired. Its is objectifying and the opposite of empowering women in safety, health, and love. This goes beyond the impact of what it is doing to the consumers brains, it impacts a total culture movement that accepts oppression of people for money and selfish gratification.
As a young man whom wants to start a family in the state I was born and have grown up in, I'm at a halt due to unnecessary tax increase and cost of living rising. I wouldn't be able to afford a family even though I have an education.
The fuel and the road conditions are absolutely horrible the trucking industry is feeling the fuel prices first hand! The so called tax for the roads is going in their pockets because the roads are worse day by day! We small businesses are hurting with all the red tape to function now CARB is almost regulating all trucks off the road how are we going to get products into stores if there’s no trucks???
