“In matters of truth and justice, there is no difference between large and small problems, for issues concerning the treatment of people are all the same.”
Life is a journey filled with choices, and none of us are immune to making mistakes along the way. We all have moments where we stumble, sometimes making decisions that can lead us down difficult paths. However, what truly matters is how we respond to those mistakes. I want to take a moment to acknowledge those who have faced their consequences head-on and taken responsibility for their actions. It takes immense courage to confront our faults, learn from them, and strive for change. Speaking from my own experience, I have made mistakes that could have derailed my life, but I chose to do my time, reflect on my actions, and turn my life around. We must remember that our past does not have to define us. Instead, it can serve as a powerful teacher. Everyone deserves a second chance—a chance to grow, to learn, and to become better versions of themselves. In this light, I believe that individuals like Jesse Milo, who have recognized their past mistakes and have shown genuine remorse, should also be given the opportunity to contribute positively to society. If Jesse has truly changed and dealt with the consequences of his actions, he can be a valuable mentor to young people, guiding them towards making better choices and leading them down the right path. Let’s advocate for redemption and support the idea that everyone can change. Free Jesse Milo—because everyone deserves a second chance at life.
My interest in this matter stems from my unique capacity to identify sincere and truthful individuals. I am thoroughly convinced that this man has undergone a significant transformation, altering the course of his life, and now has a renewed sense of purpose, driving him to pursue freedom. Although I do not usually engage in such activities, I am drawn to this particular situation, as I am certain that this individual is not malevolent and deserves another chance at freedom. Moreover, I feel inspired by a higher power to express my support and will continue to pray for his liberation in Jesus' name.
We need to see change in the law system because it's definitely broken i belive people can change and better them self's when they realize they have a support form positive people. And because I also have 2 loved ones incarcerated with life and no possibility of parole. I feel that just because ur at a crime scene u shouldn't get the same years as the one who actually committed the crime the system needs to change NOW.
Hi, all the way from Texas!
I heard Jesse on YouTube talk about his story. This is why I decided to sign and contribute to his petition. Anyone can change, it’s only a matter of will you set your mind to change. I don’t personally know Jesse but I have a Jesse that I know here in Texas. Prison reform and rehabilitation is the goal and we talk about how we push for this. This is happening in real life not just on the movies and TV shows. I believe that Jesse Milo should not have a life sentence and not 174 years. I read the conviction and I don’t believe that the sentence was appropriate for the action/crime. I see crazy sentencing happening and longer times for parole approval. Under the certain circumstance I believe that 23 years has been a very long time and an appropriate sentence could be 25-30yrs but no more than that. Here in Texas we have different sentencing but that doesn’t justify the fact that Jesse Milo has completed 23 years and he deserve a chance at a second life not a second chance but a second life. His first life was lived in mistakes, young, dumb and full of mistakes. Now at age 45 his mindset is more expanded more educated and goal oriented. He sees the light at the end of the tunnel and frankly once you accept god into your life, god will bless you change you and most importantly save you. Good luck Jesse milo and always trust in god. God always has a plan for us.
I believe jesse has learned from his mistakes and has done his part inside of those walls. Just being in there for 3 months can show you a whole bunch and demonstrate why you would never want to end up in a place like that again. I feel like jesse has taken many steps to prove he has learned from his mistakes and will do positive things for the community when he is free. He even dropped out of his gangs and ran from the crimes and negativity which is one of the hardest things to overcome especially in a negative prison environment where there’s a lot of feelings in a pod full of men. I believe jesse deserves another chance to do better and i honestly don’t know how i would do if i was hit with consecutive life sentences like that. MERCY FOR JESSE
I have worked closely with Jessie and seen the amazing work he’s doing for himself and for his community. I personally been inside the prison and sat down in his programs especially Arms Down in which he shows a lot of insight and encourages the rest of the group to look deep inside and hold themselves accountable and change their lives around. We all make bad decisions and Jessie truly deserves a second chance
