This are 116 condo units and 266 apartment complex within feet of this proposed 250mw battery storage facility. How on earth would they evacuate all these people if ever a fire? Estimated 1000 people would have to be evacuated from these to complexes alone. Think about that.
We need to keep as many mature trees as we can. They are very much needed for breathable air quality and habitat for other living beings. Humans are not the only species that matters.
These never-ending developments bring nothing but destruction to our nature and wildlife and are ruining our mental and physical health. Pollution is rising rapidly. We are already the poorest in nature country in Europe and the dirtiest one at that as it is, more developments benefit no one but construction companies involved in them and those who cell them. Long-term damage will have effect on all of us!
I do not understand how anyone could think the current roads could take the additional burden. The traffic through Finedon is already beyond believable. We all need to protect our green spaces which are becoming smaller by the week in this area.
There appears to be several existing Industrial estates/parks in the A14 area near to Burton Latimer and Kettering areas. Improving their quality, road surfaces and traffic flows should be prioritised over starting new developments on green land.
Having lived in the area for 10 years the traffic volumes and flows are a concern to residents who have made this area there home.
I care because where i live i see beautiful blue skies changed everyday by plane after plane , spreading this poison , it’s affecting humans, animals insects the environment , they say they aren’t doing it yet but it’s been going on for years !! Look up every body, once you know its so very noticeable…
This is an incredible place, arguably the most loved by local people and repeat visitors for escaping into the fells. I am deeply concerned United Utilities has only one goal in mind (to ditch responsibility and save money) and is not considering all possible options (we believe the surveyors, Jacobs, offered these) to manage this site sensitively for people and the environment

I have lived locally to Crummock Water for over 30 years and visit the lake to walk or swim weekly. This is one of the last remaining areas of the Lake District which is relatively unspoiled. Please do not destroy this beautiful area. The impact visualisations from United Utilites, particularly around the boat house, appear to be misleading in the amount of exposed beach that will result. And what about the impact on the islands at the south end of the lake where birds nest?
Crummock is a beautiful UNESCO site for many generations to enjoy. The proposed plan puts this at risk. Having visited many times the only solution would be assisted natural recovery as opposed to weir removal, enabling future generations the opportunity to enjoy this beauty spot and allow this lake to remain unspoilt not only for the residents, the tourists but most importantly the wildlife and fauna. Every action causes a reaction, ensure yours is for the grace of good.
