This petition is so important for all women to get behind. As a 34 year old, with two kids, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in January of this year, I count myself so lucky that it was caught early on at a cervical screening. I've had a radical hysterectomy, 5 weeks of radiotherapy and 3 sessions of Brachytherapy and am now starting to feel myself again! Just waiting on the all clear from my specialist next month. I dread to think what would have happened if I'd had to wait 5 years between screenings, my kids might have grown up without a mother. Sign the petition & get your cervical screening ladies! X
Ellie apoiou: Reduce Cervical Screening Interval to 2 Years
I live in Canada but as a British citizen, my voting constituency is at my parents address in Hawarden. I don't want added pressure to the services my parents rely on, like doctors and dentists. I also don't want additional flooding further down hill where my brother lives. With so many things at stake and staunch opposition, I wonder why it's being pushed ahead?
Heather apoiou: Overturn Decision by FCC to allow 300 houses to be built on Ash Lane Greenbelt area.
There is yearly flooding throughout lower mancot ! Every year myself and other residents have a battle to stop our homes from flooding the additional 300 homes on the greenbelt land that acts as a soak away will only add to this problem. Also the local infrastructure is already at braking point (the local council is unable to provide the correct service for the residents as it is ) and is not able to support the additional residents of 300 extra homes based on the local person per house ratio that would be approximately 1000 people to find doctors, schooling, dentist ETC for

A huge number of residents in Hawarden and Mancot have already raised numerous issues with this proposed development, including myself. Issues include having insufficient infrastructure to support (i.e. schools, GP practices, pharmacy services) the large increase in the local population which this development will bring, the risk of increased flooding which is already a recurrent and disruptive problem around the propsed site, and reduction in green spaces which will affect both flora and fawna diversity and the mental health and wellbeing of local residents. Why does this not matter??

This build will put yet more risk of flooding in mancot and sandycroft both already flood now. No thought has gone into how schools. Doctors ect are going to cope with all the extra people as for dentists it's impossible to get an appointment now. This build will destroy the villages of Hawarden and Mancot take all our green space away not to mention the wildlife it will impact .. It's so sad that community's are being destroyed
