The current UK birth certificate states the Father first then the Mother. This is very out dated and should state the Mother first then the Father as the mother carries and gives birth to the child. Australia and Scotland already do this so why has this not been changed? I was quite upset to enter my husband’s details first before mine (I love him dearly but it’s the principle), and see the need for this template to be reversed. I would like this to be reviewed and raised in Parliament. 
A similar partition was raised with the marriage certificate as it didn’t state the mother’s occupation, making our sex feel quite forgotten. Let’s make this change!
