Murderers and sex offenders should stay in prison and serve their full sentence, maybe they should release petty criminals like driving offences or shoplifters instead. This would also make room in our prisons for serious crimes like violent crimes and assaults with weapons. As I was raped and had my throat cut many years ago now by an ex partner and he was released after three and a half years of his five years sentence after my wish was for him to serve his full sentence, they asked me what I would prefer but still released him.

I was raped as a 14 year old in the UK. It is utterly shameful that this is still happening to children 65 years later with no significant repercussions for the perpetrators. Do better UK!

I see the deeply negative and distressing effects that this ruling has already had on my trans friends. I had believed and hoped that our society had been moving in a more inclusive direction, but this ruling counters so many of those positive steps that had been taken. This ruling is not in my name.
