After the death of a five year old in my home town, I realized that the death penalty is always taken away for these criminals that deserve much more. These families shouldn't have to deal with the death penalty being taken off just to find their children. In the death of Lizzy Shelley, She was taken by her uncle and killed close to her home. The amount of pain this little girl had to go through is unfair that he gets to live in his cell and be taken care of for the rest of his life. That seems unfair when the little girl didn't get the same respect. 

This change could help other families by passing Lizzy's Law maybe we can stop these criminals who kill children under the age of 12 to have the death penalty. With no exception of the law. They talk they still get the death penalty.

Let's show this little girl that she mattered and those that have come after her that they matter too. Lizzy's law will see that they get the death penalty no matter what. The pain the family has to endure from the loss and the tragedy, should be over with the death of the person of the crime. This is for Lizzy and Lizzie's family. In memory of a little girl that deserved so much more.
