President of the United States

The President of the United States serves as the head of state and government for the country, representing the nation in diplomatic matters, while also leading the executive branch of the federal government. Charged with enforcing national laws, the President appoints government officials, signs or vetoes legislative bills, and directs foreign policy. The role also includes the duty of commander-in-chief of the United States Armed Forces.
