Boosting the United States Economy!

Let me introduce myself, I am a 65-year-old woman, who still paying for a student loan. I have paid faithfully for 11 years. However, it seems that I have not made a dent in that debt. I know I am not alone in this predicament. I know people who are trying to be responsible, but with the high rate of interest of those loans make it very difficult to survive.

I believe canceling student loan debt will result in a great boost to the economy! Canceling the student loan debt will be a great boost to the economy. I would  suggest beginning canceling the student debt in steps:

1. Let’s cancel all the student loan debt for people who have paid faithfully for more than 10 years despite the circumstances. You are rewarding them!

2. Let’s take a look at those who have paid intermittently because their finances have not allowed them to paid faithfully. Perhaps they would have paid if the interest would not be so high, and/or the added charges for paying late.                                                                                            

3. Lowering the interest rate on those student loans would help students repay faster. It is discouraging!  

4. The money spent on the repayment of a high-interest rate student loan will be well used to Boost the economy!
